My name is Joan Choi (she/her), and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in New York City.

I’m a Korean and American, bilingual therapist working with Asian Americans, BIPOC and immigrants. Before becoming a therapist, I dipped my toes in the fashion industry and spent many years working in the hospitality industry as a server, bartender, and manager.

I provide therapy for individuals and couples, and I am also available for speaking engagements, MC-ing, and facilitating. My goal is to amplify my work by working directly with clients and also reaching wider audiences in various ways.

I love my dog River, hiking in Upstate New York, jogging across the three bridges, and getting a full 9 hours of sleep.
